Shy Sally (board member) posted a couple quilts she did that would be nice. Lone Star Twist. A take on Stack&Whack and Lone Star. Both are beautiful.

Hi Loretta!!! I have a book called 9 Patch Pizazz, my friends & I call it the potatoe chip quilt, because you can't make just one.The quilts call for large pieces of fabric surrounded by smaller pieced blocks. Some of the focus fabric is cut 121/2 x121/2 & others 121/2 x 61/2 , or 61/2 x61/2 , you get the picture You just have to see it ! Also you can use those nice scenic panels in these quilts too. I also love the "Just Can't Cut It" pattern. I have made several of them in different sizes and they all turn out cute. And it is an easy pattern to piece, which helps!!!

We just got back from Kauai. I bought 5 1/2 yds of Hawaiian print to make a one-block wonder for the first time. I want to make some of the other kinds of blocks like tje ones in your picture. how do I do tat?--Suzi
