If I post in the wrong section, the moderator are kind enough to move it to the right section, so pictures are usually of quilted items.

They seem to move ALL pictures to the Picture section - even though the section says its for quilting related pictures. I still vote for two picture sections. One for quilting related, one for not.

Thanks for asking this because I checked out the Pictures/Quilt Gallery. Looks great! I know I like looking at quilt pics too.

I enjoy the Bow Tucks, fur babies, pillow cases and other non-quilted items' pictures and that I only have to go to one area to see all the pics. guess I'm in the minority.

I vote for that as well. The quilt gallery is wonderful... especially if you are looking for a particular pattern of quilt. However, when one is simply reading the posts of the day, it would be much nicer to have the two different categories of pictures.

I think 2 picture sections would be great and they did move my pictures out of the quilting pictures to chit chat so it would have been great to have a designated pictures section. My moved items were sewn but not quilted.

I would love it if topic titles were more descrptive, less enigmatic. It would really help when using the seach function also. Instead of "Help!" or some other such vague plea, post "need help with bobbin jam on XYZ machine" or "need help to determine size of setting triangles". Instead of "finally finished", how about "finished postage stamp quilt after 20 years"?
