Even though the other poster said not to go to Flying Geese, I recommend going there. I personally always go on Saturdays or Sundays and have never had any problems and they have helpful staff at least on those two days.
Their hours change in the summer so if you consider going make sure to give them a call.
Joyful Quilter isn't bad, although I felt like I was being avoided the whole time I was there. They didn't even bother to help until I started grabbing bolts to get yardage, I felt they thought I just stumbled into their shop not knowing what it was. (I'm pretty young so a lot of people don't think I quilt but still rubbed me the wrong way).
