We live out in the boonies and have had satellite now for several years. I've often searched our state public television for quilt shows and they have never had any. Then I stumbled upon Eleanor Burns' show on the RFD station. Comes on at odd hours, but I could tevo it.... Now, I've found Fon's and Porter on BYU! I didn't know what I was missing! If you have satellite, you can go to themes on your remote, type in quilt, and get results. I tevo several of them, watch them, and delete the ones I don't care for. It's just been nice getting to see part of what I've been reading about now for years! Everyone else on here may have already known about this, but I guess I am just really slow...

I really wish that someone, anyone..., would bring back Simply Quilts. I loved that show--I learned so much from watching it.

I watched 5 of them this morning. Some of them are as old as 2002; I really don't care! I have never seen any of them and I'm enjoying myself...

I found RFD, what a hoot! Eleanor Burns is a bit over the top but she sure can teach! Now I need to look for the Fons Porter one...

    thx!
