I have a conference in April in Burlingame, California (which is near San Francisco). I won't have a car but if anyone knows of some quilt stores in the area I would love to try and stop in.

I have been to Always Quilting once or twice and haven't been to Laurel Leaf at all. I mostly visit the two in the East Bay where I work.

My mother swears by Laurel Leaf, and I have been when I visited her. Great store.
If you also do needlepoint, be sure to check out the Status Thimble. A trip up there isn't complete for me without stopping in there.
