why don't you try selling them here, someone else might like them if you don't, and you could use the money to buy more fabric

These are all great ideas. Does anyone know of a senior center in the Winston-Salem, NC area that would like them to quilt?

That's a good idea too. I wouldn't even begin to know what to charge for a top.

If they don't appeal to you why not finish them and donate them to a charity organization.

I would find someone who likes it and give it to them.

i either donate them to a group who will happily finish them and use them- or the little sewing group i belong to makes sleeping bags for the homeless-i take them to the group-and they decide to use them for the sleeping bags-or to finish them up and give them to some other organization-usually either the hospice house-or one of the local fire departments that give them to families who have had home fires.

I agree. We all love quilts and would love to see your tops on sale here. Or you could put together some silly contest and one of us would WIN the lovely quilt top.

In the yellow pages, look under Senior Center. Try Googling Senior Center Winston-Salem NC.

Someone had posted a few months ago in the classifieds that they would take them and finish them for a charity. I can't remember who it was but maybe put a post in the classifieds to see if someone is interested in doing that. If I can remember who it was I'll let ya know.

i've got one stuffed in the back of the closet. Hope DH doesn't find it. He'll want me to finish it and I'm not ready for that yet. I'm not pleased with the way it looks. It's batik and I didn't realize that batik is extremely difficult to hand quilt. I've got it sandwiched but it's all wrinkly and I don't even like to look at it. Oh, well, someday.........
