I go ahead and quilt them anyway..donated quilts are in need everywhere.
If you dont want to many quilters here are more than glad to accept them so they can quilt them and donate them

I made a king size quilt top and after I got it done, I hated it. The colors reminded me of my ex-husbands van. So I donated it to the church to finish for disaster victims.

Try to sell them here or on ebay or donate them but don't keep them.

You can also give them to Goodwill or quilting groups would take and finish them.

First of all, I appreciate knowing the someone else has tops that they don't want to finish. Makes me feel more "normal". And now I have all these great ideas about how to get them out of storage. Thanks

Donate them. Many quilt guilds have members that would happily finish them to give to a charity.

My chapter has a bring ufo night when we put a project on the table that we don't want to finish and in exchange we choose something to finish that someone else threw in. You'll be surprised at how many people like what you hate

I recently finished a top that I really didn't like. I put it away for a while, but eventually ended up buying a backing that I really liked and then just doing a simple meander. I use it as a lap quilt in the family room, keeping that nice backing side up! Alternately the idea of finishing it and donating is a great one too.
