Does anyone have the Janome 4100QDC

    4100 QDC
The 4100 Quilting/Décor is a Computerized sewing machine with fabulous features desired by sewists and quilters alike. Its bright, easy to read LED display and touch-button selection allows quick access to the 100 built-in stitches for more creativity, including several styles of one-step buttonholes. Extra-wide seam markings on the bed of the machine are great for home dec applications, and the feed dog drop and start/stop button are handy for quilting projects.

I am thinking about upgrading my machine, but not 100% sure which machine to get. I do plan on taking a look around and testing some out, but thought I would get some feed back from all of you :)

    I am currently using a Brother CS-6100i.

Thank you for any feedback or other suggestions in a good machine.

I don't know anything about Janome, but I have several HusqvarnaVikings. I have the new Diamond; absolutely fantastic, but costly. I also have a Topaz, Designer I and the Designer SE. They are all computerized and have embroidery units. HusqvarnaViking has a large line from low price up to the Diamond. I like the large screen, and the computer capabilities. If you have a dealer nearby, you should check them out. I always had Singers, but these are beyond anything I have ever sewed on. And dealer support is awesome. The new ones have the longer area between the needle and the business end; great for quilting. Hope I helped

A couple months ago I purchased a Janome 6600. Love it. Since Janome has come out with the new Horizon there are trade-ins at excellent prices!!!!

I have had my Janome 6600P for nearly 4 years.

Started with a Janome MC 3000 and upgraded. Still use the 3000 - it's my take along for workshops.

What do I like best about the 6600P? I think it's the extended sewing area/bed & extension table. It's quite a large surface.
