I just ordered the Make Mine a Mini pattern book, and want to try my hand at a mini,
Any suggestions or tips from anyone that makes these little gems. I find them amazing.

I'm currently working on some mini blocks for bookmarks from a free pattern that I found online, and I'm really enjoying it. It can be challenging at time, but always fun. It is also a great way to use scraps especially with the cost of fabric.

Check with Rhonda. She is the queen of mini work.

Are the quilts in the book paper pieced? I paper pieced my miniature quilt called Chocolate Raspbery Torte. I'll post a picture when I find it.

paper piecing is really fun. If you've never done a mini before, I'd suggest trying to make a small version of a block that you're familiar with, churn dash, log cabin.. then keep trying to go smaller. It can be fiddly at first, but it's fun!
