I just a newsletter from one of the quilt shops where I like to visit..and they listed some new acronyms that I've never heard before...perhaps they are not as new for you - but I got a kick out of these...

    PIGS (projects in grocery sacks)
    SEX (stash enhancement exercise)
SABLE (stash above and beyond life expectation)
    Ph.D. (projects half done

And here's the link they gave for lots more...

Thanks for explaining these acronyms. However, I did have difficulty with one of them. When I told my husband I was going shopping for SEX, I got in a lot of trouble!

Never been on one of trhose trips. When I need to go to Walmart, or the local AMISH Store, The Dutchman Store, I try to look and then buy if I can.

    What is a WOMBAT???

Don't think I'll ever have one of them!!! Unless I finish my granddaughters quilt when she's 80!!! Started it when she was 4 mo old and she's 9 mo old now, and I'm still a long way from being done!!!!
