I would love to have a quilting buddy but I'm in Alabama. Too bad we don't have a service like one of those dating.coms to find quilting buddies.

I would but I live in Oregon. My daughter lives on Long Island, but she doesn't sew, sigh.

Are there any quilt shops that you can take classes in and meet fellow quilters? Or are there any quilt guilds in your area? Those are the places I went to find quilting buddies. My quilt guild has a "sew-in" at least once a month in the meeting room of one of the local libraries (we have 3 to chose from) and we have had as few as 4 and as many as 12 show up to sew for a day. We also have one LQS that stays open late on Thursdays, and if they don't have a class scheduled, have let us use the classroom for a sew-in.

Good luck.
