DH and I have been on several cruises among which was a quilt cruise. I didn't like the time I had to be in class because the rest of our party was having fun doing other things and I was inside. My girlfriend, on the other hand, goes on at least one quilt cruise a year. I love cruising but I won't tie myself down again. Have a great time. I'm sure you'll love it and Alaska is beautiful.

I am scheduled for a quilt cruise to Alaska in June. I have never been on a quilt cruise but am looking forward to it. I agree it is pricey but I think it is my ideal situation - on water and quilting with my daughter.
