cold water will help -set the color- so ....
you probably wont get them out. depending on the quilt of course maybe you could use a stain removeing product like shout? but warm water is going to probably be needed...use cold water when you don't want your marks to disappear...sometimes some agitation is necessary too...can the quilt be washed in a washer?...with warm water and some detergent?
also, if you heat set the marks (pressing) it will be more difficult

I just went to the grocery and thought about Oxi clean, but didn't know if it would take out the color of the flowers and stems. I will get some and try it on the white background though and see if it works. The instructions says to dry clean, do you think that would take out the lines?
