I am asking this question a little backwards but here goes. I tried a Brother quilting machine 1500 serious. First it is a heavy duty machine-straight stitch only. I did my homework price wise-pro's and con's. The only con I found was the machine was very heavy when taking it to class. The machine went from $989-$599 free shipping. All machines exactly the same. There is a repair shop near my house and they fix the machines in the store. The backwards part I ordered one. Finally my question. Does anyone have one of these quilting machines and is it a pro or a con?

I have only heard good things but it is not a machine that is suited for taking to class as it is big and cumbersome, don't own one but thats just what I have seen
