I have done this, though I don't have a longarm so I don't know how that changes the way it's done

I did thi with DWR. Did it in halves and worked fine.

Thanks for all the references, Ladies. I mainly make quilts that aren't least 105". I've been quilting them on my Bernina 830LE. All these tips will be out to good use.
