I am looking to take a quilting retreat by myself for just a weekend. Anyone been to one that they would highly recommend?

I want to stay in the contiental US as I have to use my free airline ticket this calendar year.

Happy Quilting!

Went to a great one last summer at Thunder Bay Golf Resort in Hillman, Michigan. Their website is www.thunderbaygolf.com and they hold retreats throughout the year. Had a blast! I couldn't go this year but am planning to do it next year.

Here is the info for my Quilting Retreat. I hope to meet several board members this weekend! Bring your project or quilt and have fun! A trip to the Dutchman's Store for fabric and eating out at the Bonaparte Retreat! Bentonsport is an historical setting and it is really beautiful scenery.

Threads of Time in Danville Ill. has a retreat center but you're usually not there by yourself--there'd be other quilters there. You can call them by going to their website and getting the number. http://www.threadsoftimefab.com
