The last large spool of OMNI I used was a light gray color and shredded like mad.... changed needles several times and it kept shredding. Finally threw it in the trash. Mut have gotten a bad spool, but it was enough to drive me crazier than when I started out on that quilt.

I use a 45mm for cutting fabric and a 60mm for squaring the quilt in preparation for binding. I like blades made from Japanese steel because they last a long time.

I buy blades in bulk on Amazon. Titanium coated Japanese steel blades. They fit all the different brands of rotary cutters I have. I just ordered a lot more before prices go up.

I use Signature 40 wt. cotton on my Crown Jewel III longarm. It was recommended for my Tiara sit-down machine, and the Crown Jewel III looks just like the Tiara except for the measurement of the harp. I'm very happy with it.
