Prayers go up for all of you in that devastated area. Bless you for helping your friend, and for getting on with a quilt for your mom in the face of all the havoc there. I hope the power comes back on for you soon.

Our prayers go out to all of you. Hand sewing may help get you through this time. just the act of doing something so simple helps calm the mind, at least it does for me.

My heart hurts for all of you. This is so devastatin to go through and then it happens again. Where do you get your strength? I only wish I lived closer to give things to people. - J

Hey Deb,
Like you we were very very lucky and fortunate that we all survived here. We have total devastation around us here out in Madison County. We only lost a big tree and have been without power since the day the storm hit. We've been told (yesterday) it will probably be another week before we regain our power. We are heading out to Tennessee now for more gas for our "iffy" running generator. Hope you guys get power soon too.
