My DIL worked in a home store with a display quilt made from satin and other fabrics. Large (6") squares. She gave me the samples collection to make her the same quilt and it was a beast. I stabilized everything and it was then not bad to work with. Remember to use a pressing cloth and don't make the iron too hot.

I'm not a fan of Pellon interfacing for anything that may be washed many times. It's easy to obtain so very popular, but since it's non woven there is nothing to keep it from coming apart. I've used it in garments that were washed multiple times and the interfacing did begin to come apart. I couldn't find F960, but did find F906. The pellon website didn't give application info so i don't know whether this is a low heat fusible or not. That was one of the main reasons I used to use Touch 'O Gold on silks and rayons, you could get a good fuse with low heat. Just something to think about.

I am so thankful for all the suggestions. I have about put together a block and the fabric is very "squirrelly". I am going to look for another type of fabric that is more stable. I wanted the satin glow in her quilt and to be washable. There must be something in the right colors out there.
