Thanks for all the ideas. I was going to leave this window pain as it was and my husband thought he would be nice and paint it for me. :shock: So I thought I would run some sandpaper over it to make it look a little weathered. I'll have to do all 4 panes separate because of how its put together. They are
8" X 10" so I'll be brainstorming and see what I come up with.

A gal here in NE IA paints quilt designs on the windows--very striking! Going to check with her to see if she can paint a Dresden plate block on my almost 90 year old cast iron skillet whose handle cracked last winter :roll:

Hmmmm. I have some of the window frames from when I had the windows replaced. Will have to see what I can do with them. This is such a good place for inspiration!
