Thanks I will look it up and hopefully go check it out our next trip.

It sounds like the quilts taken were smaller ones and somebody had a nice big purse .

In our area we had so many churches robbed last Christmas of the toys and gifts they had collected for people who couldn't afford to have gifts at holiday. Unfortunately most of it is people who need money to buy drugs.

I talked to a friend last night who discovered theft in their Joann's. Police were called, cameras showed two women who stole. Charges were pressed. $500 to bail out of jail, attorney fees and minimum would be probation. I think I would put cameras in my quilt shop. These women were regular customers. One charged items and the other walked out the door. Makes me upset to see them get away with this.

it is a sad day when a quilt is stolen from a quilt shop. I just hope that who ever stole it was really cold and in desperate need of a blanket. I know that the quilting fairies will be haunting who ever stole those quilts if they were not in true need.

Quilters Paradise is a WONDERFUL store with the friendliest, most helpful staff, great classes and a joy to be in.

I hope that QB members in the Central Valley of California will keeps their eyes out for these quilts.
We had this happen in Orlando a couple of years ago. A members' effort for charity. The chain store ask to put it on display. We never got it back and we were never compensated for the loss either. The store is now out of business. Never again.
