The original thread here is very nearly 10 years old, so it isn't unusual for a fabric line to be discontinued after that long.
You can still find this cotton/silk blend in a few places, and it seems, only a few colors though.
Someone else on this board was looking for cotton sateen a while ago, and was also having trouble finding it. And it seemed that it was also only available in a few basic colors.
Maybe it's mostly used in bridal type projects now.
It sure is pricey too, it seems

Kaufman stopped manufacturing it a while back, but there are a lot of award-winning quilters who love it and use it in their creations. It's possible that their outcry was heard by higher-ups and they responded by starting production back up again. We can only hope they release new colors in the future.

I wouldn't use silk in my quilts because I make quilts to be used and silk doesn't usually hold up well to repeated washings. Some silks don't wash well at all.
