Default Rail Fence Quilts Yardage

I have fabric from my stash and would like to use it to sew a Rail Fence quilt, 60" x 78". I cannot find any information as to how much I would need from four different fabrics. I would use strips of 2 1/2". Any help will be appreciated.

Are you going to sew one 2 1/2 inch strip to another one or are you going to cut them smaller?

The strips would be 2 1/2" x WOF.

I figure your blocks would be 8x8" finished, and the quilt would be a little larger. You would need 1 1/2yds of each fabric and an extra 1/2 yd for the binding.

Here is my rail fence done in all pink fabrics cut one inch wide. Seems like this took a long time. I had WOF and then sewed them all together in panels of 12, so my blocks are 6 inces.
