I aagree, I find the gloves are too hot. I use finger cots too. I use the kind you get in the office supply dept. and they come in different sizes.

Don't know if you have a store nearby but I found the Fons & Porter quiilting gloves at Tuesday Morning for a good price.

Love my machingers. LQS had to order mine because my hands are small. They are great - love them and well worth the money.
