my joann's has allowed me to use a coupon on sale items, but take the percentage off the regular price, not the sale price. (if a $10 item on 40% sale, it would be $6, but if I have a 50% coupon, they charge me $5 instead). Many times Ott lights are excluded from the coupons anyway. I got mine on ebay 2 years ago....floor lamp, putty color, flex neck, no magnifier..$69. Love it!
My scratch off was for 40% :-( But thread is on sale 50% off aug 20-22 :lol:

Good to know about why I don't get the coupons anymore. I live about 70 miles from my nearest Joann's so I don't go as often as I would like to. I guess I will look and see if I need to make the trip, even with out that scratch off coupon.

I got 70% but not sure what to buy as so many things are on sale. Sure I'll find something.

I'm pretty sure you can go online and get the other coupon still and print it off to use like the one on the back of the ad.

How do you get the scratch off ticket?? Never seen one !

I haven't seen the scratch off one either. I got the larger "book" flyer but it isn't in there. What does it look like?

The flyer you get in the mail it's on the back gold scratch off circle.

My scratch off dot is on the back cover of the booklet for August 15-28. Lower half of page is listed as preferred customer surprise savings for August 20-22. My dot is 40% off.

I walk into the store with a prepared list of what I need and what I want. Since the store is 60 miles from us, I spend quite a bit of time planning my purchases carefully.
More than once, cashier on duty has stated that I was a "careful" shopper. You should intrepret that as I only got sale items, used all my coupons, and paid about 1/2 price fot the purchAses.

I call it resourcefulness!! :-)

Same here thats what I do too and there only about 30 min from my house. Mine is in the same flyer and I got 40% also.
