No, she isn't allowed to be near my machine when it is on. One time she tried to grab the needle as I was sewing. I can't afford that vet bill!

I turn off my machine when they are near. I can't afford that vet bill either. I sew in front of a window so they want the view and perhaps my company.

when Lucy was a puppy, she used to chew the plastic eyes off--we have 2 Scooby Doo's without eyes and a lot more, but now, I am usually sewing the tails back on because she likes to carry them around in her mouth and the seams too as she loves to play tug of war.

Oh my, I can't keep him away when I start to sew. He wants my lap, or to check out what my sewing machine is doing, or to get under the fabric in the machine, or lay on top! Mr Inspector Extrordinaire!
