my 2 cents worth - paint, clean room, clean slate happy sewing! Don't forget pics!

Colorful paint will make a better environment for your quilting. Furniture can come later as you are able.

I agree with everyone else about painting now while you have everything out of the way. As for storage, go to www.freecycle.org to see if there is one in your area. If there is, you can check this site for items people are giving away.

I would paint. It is hard to find the right time to do it and move things, so you are moving stuff around anyway, paint!

Painting is a wise choice at this point. I moved first and then wanted to decide what color to paint and lighting after everything was in its new place. Double work. You have to literally start all over! It might take you a day or two longer but it's worth it. Congrats on your new space!

I would definitely paint it a nice soothing/inspiring color, yellow is a great color. I would put some pretty shelves up with books/plants whatever. I would make sure there were some really neat curtains and a nice rug. I think we deserve a really pretty place when we quilt as we spend so much time there. My opinion only.
