How about "the price of fabric keeps going up so I try to stock up when it's on sale to save us money!"

If I get a little cranky, my DH says I think you need to go do some Retail Therapy, and never ask how much I spend on anything..of course he means fabric.. LOL he know I love it. I am so thankful for him...

mine doesnt say much just looks at the bag and rolls his eyes but he knows better he is a kitchen gadget hound the problem is he buys crap uses it once or twice then it goes in the cupboard or basement to never be used again! lets see in 16 years together he has had a 4x4 truck to go four wheeling with his buddy muzzleloader to go on a wild boar hunt with same buddy golf clubs used 2 summers a weight bench used for about 4 months 2 gym memberships a bike used 1 month kids now use the bike and cake decorating classes and i think all he learned in that class was how to level the cake and make kick butt buttercream but i love him and at least he cant say much when i bring home yet another bag from joannes or the quilt store. so i guess we are stuck together.

I just love this thread! We are moving this weekend so we are pretty well all boxed up. Honest truth: There is more "SR" (sewing room) boxes than anything else!!! Thanks for the ammo - I may need it when the movers unload and there is a path worn into the carpet from the number of trips into the sewing room. And my DH does have Harley (his fourth) - I'm getting a LA once we are all settled in.   Post some pics so we can see how you got organized.

Same scenario here over the weekend. I was in high organize mode when DH walked in and did the eye-roll thing. All I had to do was mention golf clubs and he went on his merry way!

I told my DH, there is an age old rule that if you can see the wall behind the fabric stash You MUST buy more fabric... or it provides great insulation ... or it is cheaper than traditional therapy... or How would you like to live with me WITHOUT my stash!!!!

You all are so funny, I love this thread. I don't have a big stash, I have what some very kind members of the board have sent me. BUT if I ever get SSS, the first thing I am going to do is go to the fabric store, and just have some fun. You are all wonderful, and thank you so very much for the laugh. God bless. Penny

That was kind of sweet!! :)
