Hi...just registered but have been recieving quilting board messages for quite awhile now....I have 2 FW for sale...they are both little black ones....I have 4 and just wanted to sell 2...because of having no space for extra stuff that is not needed. Let me know if you are interested....I am asking $350 for one. I will be taking a pic in the next day or so if I hear from youa and will post it...

I too am a new quilter and have seen such praise for Singer Featherweights...and not known what all the fuss is. Please will someone explain what one looks like and if you use it to piecing. Thanks. Anxiously awaiting information.

They are small, lightweight and portable. People who travel to classes and quilting events love them for that. Also they are built like a tank and will run forever with a little love. And they're cute.

They are too popular, which makes them too high priced for me. I could get two other old singers for what one FW costs. One day, when I find a reasonable price, I'll snag one.
