This probably sounds crazy to those of you quilting on frames but here goes. I bought the grace start right, loaded a top i had a friend toss together, and quilted little over half. As I roll I loosen the rod holding top, rod holding backing then my take up rod. If I finish on take up I retighten backing and top rods.

Instructions for using only go up to loading quilt. So I have quilted till where I can no longer loosen the rod holding the quilt top. So do I just unpin and leave remaining top loose except sides or do you have to unload entire quilt and repin in other direction. Hope that makes sense. Here's a picture Sorry sounds lame but this is my first attempt at using a frame.

Post a picture when you're finished quilting it. I'd love to see it.
