Should have included my Mom who is 90; still piecing and doing embroidery work--without glasses! Doesn't do the internet thing though.
By the way, you didn't post your husband's age! Wonder if he thinks of himself as OLD? Does he not have a hobby that he enjoys doing with his friends? If not, you should teach him how to do quilts; we old ladies would welcome him to the board..

I missed the original question, but I'm checking in at 70! I made all my son's clothes until he needed pants with zippers, still made pj and shirts. Tried quilting, but after I went back to work full time there just wasn't time. Now I'm retired, 70 years young and loving every minute I spend in my sewing sanctuary.
The ladies in my craft club are in their 80s and I'm one of the "babies." We do all kinds of crafts, have some of the best cooks in Colorado and enjoy just being together. You are never to old to learn something new.
Thanks for doing the poll, very interesting and fun.

Wow! It's amazing to see the number of us who responded. This is a large group of quilters. For me personally, I am so happy that being in my 50's I am in the majority. Makes be feel really nestled in and comfortable. It's also wonderful knowing that more and more younger girls (and a few young men) are becoming interested in this wonderful world of quilting. We know quilting will go on for many generations to come. Thanks for taking the pole. I enjoyed reading all of the posts thoroughly.
