Default Reviews for Brother XR3240?

I'm interested in possibly getting a Brother XR3240 quilting machine. Does anyone have some advice or reviews? Thanks

I don't have that model, but I did get the low end xr1355 from Costco 3 years ago. Love the brother machines. Have been sewing on this one for all my piecing and general sewing and no issues with it. I do my FMQ on a Juki because it has the much larger throat. I have had other Brother machines and have never had any problems. I'm sure the model you are interested in will serve you well.

I bought the XR3140 Brother from Costco and really liked how it stitched out. Liked it so well I bought another one to give to the gent I was teaching how to make a quilt. Only issue I have and there might be a fix for it but I haven't found it and that is there is no way to adjust the sewing foot tension. Otherwise I love, love this machine and it came with its own extension table so that was another plus. I found that the pre-wound size 15 bobbins also fit it which I get from my neighbor who doesn't save them so I don't have to buy extra bobbins. My Babylock Ellegante uses the same feet and bobbins too so I can interchange them if necessary as my Babylock came with a walking foot and the Brother did not.

I have the SQ-9050 which is a similar model. Most of the brother computerized low end machines are essentially the same most that own them are happy. Mine have always sewn well and have been trouble free. You would be surprised at them for the price
