    I am from a German Christmas which is a little bit more free form and so matching doesn't really matter. Please don't take this the wrong way however do you know if she made his original stocking? If she did, perhaps he might not want it replaced.

    He sounds like a wonderful man - you see so many marriages fall apart over nothing nowadays it's nice to see a man think of a woman's missing needs or wants first. I'm sure they will both love the stockings that are also being made from love.
