I get my 45mm at Harbor Freights. Some people say they have a problem with them, however I have no complaints. Two blades for 1.99.

I stock up on them when they're on sale, so I never run out. I have used Harbor Freight rug cutters and find they work better on thicker fabrics, rather than thin ones; this is my experience anyway. I've bought from lots of places on line, including Amazon, JoAnn's (with coupon), e-Bay and Nancy's notions. It just depends on the sale!

I'm sorry to say that I had a similar experience with Harbor Freight blades. I went back to Fiskars and/or Olfa. They suddenly didn't look as expensive. LOL

I stock up when Joann's has a sale or I have a coupon. I tried the ones at harbor freight (very cheap) and they were a waste of money. Spend the extra and get the titanium. I am on my 4th quilt with the same blade!

I buy mine in 5 packs at walmart. They are Fiskars brand sometimes and the blue colored brand the rest of the time. 5 packs for less than 15.00. I'm in Omaha and only 2 Walmarts carry the 5 packs here. I've been tempted to order online, but I've been equally as tempted to buy a sharpener and try and get some extra use out of them. Making a denim rag quilt is really killing my blades!
