Round Robin - UP and RUNNING!!!
#141
I just took a picture of the square. I may add some more flowers before I ship it off, then again, maybe not. Got a pretty full plate this coming weekend. I plan to add flowers and greenery when I get it back with the borders.

I am auditoning a yellow yo yo for the very center. I will look t it agin in real daylight not just a daylight lamp. Then slip stitch it sown. After that its on to the label. I can't decide what to call it but ya'll can express an opinion or give a suggestion tomorrow after I sew the yo yo on. Its a version of the rose of sharon with pastel colors for the flowers, so I am thinking of aname with spring in it, just not sure what to call it yet.

I'm done except for the label. The yellow yo yo isn't stitched just yet. I wanted to see how it would look in the daylight before I sewed it on. I think I will go ahead and attched it. I used a combination of hand and machine applique. The stems and part of the big flower are hand and the rest is machine. It measures 35" or there abouts.

Thanks. I'm hoping that by the time it comes back, it will almost cover the top of a bed. Then I could add a very wide border to hang down over the sides and put more vines and flowers on that. I know there is no gurantee, so I will just wait and see what everyone comes up with. But I am pleased. I was afraid I wouldn't get done in time, because it was slow going. Not all the long stems ar placed exactly so, but it was a retty good try. I had never made one block that was so big, so it was a challenge and I didn't have the urge to toss it in the garbage. That happens a lot with me! I don't actually toss them but sometimes would seriously consider it!
