Hey there! I will glad to darken your name.
A little trick for writing on fabric: Iron some freezer paper on the back and then it won't grab the fabric. It stabilizes it. Then the freezer paper just peels right off. You can find it with the foil, etc. at your grocery store. Iron the shiny side to the fabric.
Thanks for the tip!Originally Posted by imaquilter
I'll have to try that on this one I have now.
Just made me mad that I couldn't get it dark enough or to look good.
I ordered the pen from Joanns online and they only had the thin tip. Would have LOVED to have had a thicker one.
And, thanks for fixing it for me too! :)
finally done and on its way!
it was fun to work on hope you like it Vicki.
O that is really pretty sewhappy! I am sure she will love it!
I LIKE IT and it's not even mine! lol
OMG!!!! Its beautiful!!!! Much prettier than I ever imagined it would be!
Thankyou
Looking good. Perfect chice for round.
SewHappy, That is such a perfect choice for pattern and fabric colors...Really compliments design of the center...
well I have FINALLY finished the border on terri's.... hope ya like!!!
It took me 2 different borders to FINALLY get this one and LOVE it!
I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am VERY glad you LOVE IT!.... ME to!
I received Terri's center in the mail yesterday. It is really pretty. I already am getting some ideas of what I am going to do and it isn't even due until August!
Terri - do you want to stick with just yellow, blue and white? I have a floral with a little bit of green in it, but also has yellow, blue and white that would look real pretty but will find something else if you don't want any other colors.

If you can stick with the same colors that would be great, BUT...if you want to introduce something else, that would be great too! Did that help you any? lolOriginally Posted by mareliba
I'm sure ANYTHING you do to it will be spectacular!
Ok, I just sent out Mareliba's square to Imaquilter.
Should be there by next Friday.
I instructed the post man to take careful care of it! :)
I just recieved Dawn's center today.
I KNOW EXACTLY what I'm going to do with it!
I'm GOING TO KEEP IT! muhahahaha :)
No, really, I know what border I'm going to use :)
Hey!! I have an exciting idea! Why doesn't everyone post a picture of themselves so we can see who we are sewing for and talking to?
I'll do it only if I get to keep Cordelia's square.Originally Posted by bettlove

Bettlove - I think that is a great idea! I would love to know who I am making things for.
mareliva
ok, this is me and my girls
OK - I looked for the name our new thread was under and it wasn't. It was changed a bit and I just want everyone to be able to get to it. It is called 'Our Challenge Block Swap is up and running!!!!'.
Make sure to bookmark it.
This block is for DA Mayer is is called Buzzards Roost (Group 2). The colors are actually better than what shows on the picture.
Okay here I am. Just add 50 + years or so and you get an idea of what I look like! LOL
the 2nd one was a few years ago at our youngest son's graduation.
A cute little girl all grown up to be an even cuter lady...
Thats sweet of you to say that! thanks. My sister belongs to this group also, I am going to find a pic of us as kids and post it. I borrowed these pictures from my mom and scanned them and sent them off so I could have my own copies. She has 8 x 10's of us in the hallway of her home. All of us were this age or younger in her photos. I think its a neat idea and will frame my copies and do the same thing.
Sure! Its not a secret. She is Virginia Cunningham and she lives in Sout Louisiana.
