which ruler is better: regular square ruler, or square-it-up ruler?

I decided I need a 12.5x12.5" square ruler, mainly to square up my blocks.

Creative Grids have two styles: the standard 12.5x12.5" ruler, and a "Fussy-cut/square-it-up" ruler that is more specific to the task, but it's more expensive than the standard ruler. (mainlly because the fussy-cut ruler comes with holes at various square sizes where you can use it to mark the corners)

here are the info on both rulers I'm looking at:

do you think the fussy-cut/square-it-up ruler is worth it? Has anyone used one or the other for squaring the block, and have an opinion on it?

thanks for any thoughts!

I have a smaller square up ruler and don't use it. I have the standard in different sizes and use them all. esp. the 12.5 x 12.5 Go for it!
