Sandwiching on the design wall
OK, for those of you who sandwich your quilts on your design wall - do you have trouble with the backing being a little puckered after you take it down? I'm thinking the weight of the batting is making it stretch itself just enough so that when I take it down, it relaxes and puckers the backing. What's your secret?

I know what you mean, as mine look the same way - however, I usually press the back again prior to quilting and it doesn't generally have any puckers. I press from the center out, and if there is any slack, I just reposition it (I use basting spray). I did it a little different than normal yesterday. I hung the batting, then positioned the backing over the batting - turned the whole thing around and did the top. It appears smoother doing it that way.
