Default Santa Came Early

I have been trying to do FMQ, with some degree of success but still not totally satisfied with my work. Last summer I had tried one of the Inspira Fab- U- Motion in a quilt shop, but the $200 was just not doing it for me. Thursday night I was really lucky and won one on Ebay for $103. So yesterday I was off to the sewing machine shop with my machine for a minor repair and a tune up it needed. Guess what DH let me walk out with....... (drum roll) a new Quantum Stylist 9600. Now I know that that doesn't hold a candle to the Bernia's and the Junki's in the world, but it is leaps and bounds over what I had. I tell you, I am pinching my self still. I spent most of the evening just playing with it, and of course there is more to learn. This is the happy face. (P.S. My DH had the nerve to call me spoiled.)

Very nice! The machine is good but having a husband who appreciates you and your "art" is special! Best wishes.
