Default Sashing Options for Imagine Quilt

The pandemic interfered with my LQS's BOM of Nancy Halvorsen's Imagine Quilt. It is 12 seasonal blocks with white sashing. I was inspired to work on my UFOs and finished placing the appllique for the remaining 8 blocks. I am machine stitching the applique so now I am looking forward to completing the quilt cover in the next few weeks. My question is, what other backgrounds can be used to replace white? The blocks have a lot of colorful pieces.

It is difficult to make a recommendation without seeing some of your blocks and the colors that are in them. But, I would suggest that you lay your blocks on a small piece of what you are considering for sashing. Step back and snap a photo. Often seeing through the eye of the camera will help you make a choice. Pick up one of the colors from the blocks and replicate it in your sashing. In the end, choose a color to please you. A color that will make you go "Ahhh, perfect."

most neutrals would work. grays, beige's, creams. even pale yellow might do. test some out and see how they look.

A picture would be the biggest help. A complimentary color might do the job, something with a wow pattern.

The pattern and samples in the LQS use a lot of white. I usually do not like to work with so much white.
