    Default Design Input

So I am in the process of working on my mother's quilt, which I've shown the progress of in other posts. Well my mother chose a design that she really loved but has since decided upon seeing how large it is that the full design will be too big for her (I mentioned this to her before I began but she still wanted it.)

Well now I am organically trying to alter the design. So now I'm combining multiple designs from the one book into one quilt. I would love input to see if you all think I'm on the right track. I have cut out most of my pieces and have placed them on my design wall.

    Here is the picture.

Thanks for looking and sharing your opinion.

I like it - the narrow outer border really puts a good stop to the medallion and now you can start with wider borders and setting triangles.

This is gorgeous. I like how you have added the second border followed by the thin border. It really sets it nicely. Good job.

What a beautiful top. It reminds me of old table clothes on hexagon tables or round dining room tables.
