It looks great and certainly ties in well with the rest of the quilt.

I love using a Scrappy binding. It takes a little bit more time putting together all of those pieces, but I like the finished results. Great quilt!

Very attractive way to finish the quilt and cut down on the scraps too....I do this quite often when nothing seems to work for binding.

There is not ONE thing about that quilt that I don't like. It says "perfection" to me.

Looks great! I often make scrappy binding especially when using a jelly roll for the quilt.

There weren't enough of any one fabric, so I just cut them in 14 inch segments and put them in the same order they were in the quilt. I have never done a scrappy border before, but I think this looks pretty good.

What do you think? Did I make the right decision? The binding is a bit hard to see, but maybe you can get the sense of it.

Successful choice on two fronts, love the pretty binding and it keeps those strips out of your scrap pile! Congrats!

    It looks wonderful. Beautiful.
I save my leftover bindings and use them on scrappy quilts. I just sew them together, I think from now on I will cut them in same size strips. I like the way you did yours.

I love it! I have that same jelly roll because I loved the colors. You have inspired me to get busy and use it. Did you do this with only one jelly roll?

Yes, I only used one jelly roll. I am surprised at how many people told me they had this jelly roll! (different thread...when I thought I was going to use a different layout)
