searching for a free medalian quilt pattern

I need at least a full size but queen would be bettern. I have made several quilts with rows of the same block and want to venture into something different. Any help would be great

Look for the Carpenter's Wheel and Double Carpenter's Wheel patterns. Just try google and you'll find several free patterns for these.

It's a fun pattern, works up easily ..... and good practice on colour/fabric choices and HSTs!

Why don't you design your own. I will walk you thru the process and it might be interesting to do it here in this forum.

if I cant find one that is suitable then I will make my own. I have a few large square table topper patterns that I can add some jacobs ladder blocks around it then go out from there.

almost every quilt magazine has at least one medallion design.
looks like you have answered your own question and have decided to do your own with some designs you have with additions.

Have you searched online? There are quite a lot there, depending on just what you are looking for. Check out Block Central site also.
