Someone awhile back said to google coloring sheets, like cat coloring sheets or snowman and that works great too.

sometimes i go to bing or google under images and look for an outline or something that's easy to applique. id just did this recently. good luck

You can also try www.fatcatpatterns.com. She has lots of free patterns on her website and they are all categorized. You might find something you like there. She has a great block of the month Christmas row quilt going on right now and it might be another one you would be interested in.

I bet if you went to the library there would be a debbie mumm quilt book you could check out. She made some really cute ones.
