Tapestry- by Carole King. It came immediately to mind as a classic and good quilt song-- "My life has been a tapestry of rich and royal hue; an ever changing vision of the ever changing view. A wondrous woven magic, in bits of blue and gold; a tapestry to see and feel, impossible to hold...."

I don't know who wrote it but "It's a great day to be alive" is part of the lyrics don't know if it's the title.

I am trying not to cry just thinking of the song and the sad sad story.

    Uncle Kracker -- Smile

You make me smile like the sun
Fall out of bed sing like bird
Dizzy in my head spin like a record
    Crazy on a Sunday night
You make me dance like a fool
    Forget how to breathe
Shine like gold buzz like a bee
Just the thought of you can drive me wild
    Ohh you make me smile
