I have to compliment the Pellon company. I recently purchased what I thought was 100% cotton batting at our local Walmart. It had the pellon paper information sheet and said 100% cotton on the end of the bolt. The clerk said it was 100% cotton. I needed it for microwavable potholders, so it had to be cotton. When I got home and really looked at it, it dawned on me that 100% cotton should not be white. I emailed the pellon company, gave them the # for the batting and asked about it. Found out it isn't 100%, the upc # didn't even match that type of pellon, and so on. Pellon called Walmart then called me and told me that they would, to make up for the inconvenience, send me a "piece of yardage" of their 100% cotton batting. It wasn't even Pellons mistake. They sent over 2 full yards. I am impressed. From now on, it's pellon and only pellon for fleece, interfacing or anything else.

ive bought white cotton batting- it was bleached-not natural- i never would have thought it wasn't just by color. warm & natural even has one- it's called warm & white.
so glad the company was good about this- i've found the information on the ends of bolts in some places are not really what you are getting- makes it so hard to figure out what we are buying-
