sewing feet Curve Master Foot
I have seen videos on this foot. Not sure if I want to spend the $30 for it. I am starting an applecore soon which is nothing but curves. Has anyone purchased this foot? I am not sure how new it is. I will do anything to make the curves easier.
Thanks

When I was planning on doing a Winding Ways quilt, I also was nervous about doing curves and so was looking at this foot. I went to YouTube and watched a bunch of videos on sewing curved pieces without a special foot. I practiced a couple times and was amazed at how easy it was without the special foot. I would try it first with your normal piecing foot. If it doesn't work, you can always buy the foot later. I do know lots of folks who have it and love it, but not everyone needs it!

Thanks for the post. I am going to start my New York beauty soon and I have been kicking the can down the road since I have never in 30 years of quilting stitched a curve. I will admit I have sort of cheated a bit by using fusible web.

I got them years ago. Now I no longer use them for quilting. Might use some of the special feet for clothing construction, but not for quilting. I don't know if it my spacial attentiveness, love of math, or whatever, but sewing curves was very easy for me to learn. I remember 'relaxed bottom' and off I go.
