I consider it a portable table. I take it with me to events and sewing days etc. I don't use it at home.

I don't have this brand but I have one from JoAnns that look very similar and I have it set up for a 2nd sewing machine. It works great.

Thank you for your replies. They are appreciated.
I have decided to do without the extension table.

I don't want a table, both machines came with one and I hate them. I have a Horn cabinet holding the 1500S and am interested in the surround, not the table. The Pfaff has the set-in for the cabinet, but I want one for the 1500S, Does anyone use the surround?

Don't use mine since the quilt gets snagged on the edge of the table.
I now have a cabinet that my machine sits flat inside. Much better.

You don't travel anywhere with a machine?

Last year I purchased one for my Brother Innov-Is 1500D I LOVE IT!!
I have been wanting to get one for my Brother NV-1000 for years, but
just didn't want to pay the $121 for it.

The dealer where I have purchased both my Brother machines had put
ALL the NV1000 extension tables on clearance a couple years ago, but
I still didn't want to pay the price (marked down 50%).

Last week I was in there getting some more Floriani embroidery thread
and seen where there was only ONE extension table left......marked down
70% I nabbed it up for $33.

Can't wait to put it to use with my machine.

Personally I love the extension tables and I just didn't know it until I tried
it.

No tried a Guild but to much like a PTA meeting with minutes, volunteers etc.
Would like to meet with other quilters near me to form a small group but Im not the social type.
The last group where I lived before was great. Only six of us. We did not sew at our monthly meeting but shared what we learned and made. We also made blocks at home to make wounded warrior quilts that we donated to the local VA hospital. Also each made a center square then passed it to the next person for a row of blocks or two, for quilts that we made for each other. We could not see our own quilt till it was done. Quilts were taken to a local long armer.

Some of us don't. Too much trouble. If I travel, we are miles from nowhere and I'd rather have my cameras.
