    Default Sewing Needles

These old eyes need a sewing machine needle with a larger eye. I tried the self-threading needles but I'm not thrilled with them. Any suggestions?

Dritz makes a needle threader I can use on my machine. Perhaps one of those would help.

The video posted is the way I thread my machine needle.

Clunky but you can get the small brush tool that has a slit in the other to hold a needle. Use that to remove the needle from the machine, thread it now that you can see the hole better and reinsert the needle with the tool.

My favourite needle is titanium Superior Top Stitch. They are made by Organ and have much larger eyes. They also outlast any other needle I've ever tried.

I ordered those needles on Amazon yesterday. They'll be here tomorrow and I'm hopeful.
