sewing tables.
At a retreat recently I took pictures of some great ways to improvise sewing and cutting tables. I will try to post some here. This machine is sitting on the top in the first picture that is sitting on a $20.00 adjustable table from WalMart. As you can see there is lots of room on each side of the machine with the slider table attached. If anyone is interested I have more pictures.

That is very inventive and whoever did it is very talented! I don't own a Bernina due to the $$$$ so unless the Bernina Fairy puts one under my pillow, I never will. If she does perchance leave one, I don't believe I will trust a 20.00 Walmart table to set it on.

This table is very strong and has metal legs that snap into the bottom of it. You can see them in the last picture. This table top was crafted by a very talented husband. However. the frame on the bottom of the wood would be quite easy to make and a piece of plywood on top covered with maybe arborite would work fine as well. Becaue it all comes apart it is great for transporting.

Another use for this table is to make it into an ironing board. This table is 30" x 19.5" and can be adjusted to 21" ,24" ,26" ,and 28" height, making it very versatile for many things. The ironing board could be made to be attached to the table or one could just use a double towel and a sheet. One dh made a frame and my friend covered the top with batting and silver fabric used on ironing boards. This was all stapled to the frame and now can be removed it she wants or set up at the height she prefers to sit beside her. This is also a great thing to use when doing an applique such as a Toni Whitney design.
The name on the table is Euro. Purchased for $20.00 at Wal Mart. I have NO interest in the company, but just love their tables.
