Anyone know of a professional long arm quilter in the Bay Area? Looking for someone with lots of experience as this is the first quilt I'm having professionally quilted- it's a VERY special irreplaceable quilt. Would love to find someone with a website and lots of pics of past work.

Thanks!!!

You can call your lqs and ask for references and meet with the laq yourself to decide on a pattern. hope it helps

I also live in the Bay Area and will be watching this. I looked into one at a LQS and she had such an attitude I decided against it.

Hey we both live in Santa Clara. I don't feel close to any of the local shops so I was hoping for a personal recommendation from someone on the boards :)

I went to one over in Cambrian and was really disappointed so I have been waiting to see if anyone here answers you. I also considered Charisma here on the board she does beautiful work. What area of Santa Clara are you in? I'm off of Los Padres and Homestead

We moved a couple months ago and I looked over that way. You're not to far from us or at least our shop. We have a auto repair shop near Santa Clara U

I've used Anneke Wheaton at The Last Stitch, 107 The Alameda, San Juan Bautista, 831-623-4330. She has done 3 baby quilts of mine and several of a couple friends of mine. We think she is terrific. They have even designed the quilt pattern to coordinate with my quilt. Just a 45 minute nice drive.
